Inground Pool Closing Instructions

1.    Clean pool and check chemical balance

2.    Add ____lbs of shock though the skimmer and allow to circulate for 2hrs.

3.    Mix winterizer in a bucket of water and pour around pool.

4.    Mix stain & scale in a bucket of water and pour around pool.

5.    Mix shock in a bucket of water and pour around pool.

6.    Run pool 30 min.

7.    Turn pool off

8.    Remove skimmer baskets and screw Gizzmos into the skimmers

9.    Remove all drain plugs (2 in the main pump, 1 in the filter & 1 in the polaris pump)

10. Remove the pressure gauge and chlorinator valve.

11. Turn the filter valve to the winterize position.

12. Cover pool, starting at one end unfolding the cover and placing the water bags as you go.

13. Ensure that all the bags are holding water and have no leaks.
